Ek Tha Tiger Salman Khan is the eldest son of writer Salim Khan and his first wife Salma, her grandfather came to India in Afghanistan and settled in Madhya Pradesh, while her mom is a Marathi Hindu. Khan said it was half and half Hindus and Muslims. His stepmother is Helen, a former actress, who co-starred with him in some movies. Has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita. Alvira is married to Atul actor/director Agnihotri. Khan graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, like their younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail.
